What's wrong with a boost guage that's very slow to operate? And can it be repaired?

 

Is it the guage or is it the car ?
Nothing to lose of not working correctly having a go at fixing ?

Its a gauge to replace a current one. The current one works normally, and the replacement is 'lazy'. Needle hardly moves. Replacement is a 2nd hand ( I know I know ) one the missus bought it for me at Central Day. Would be a shame to chuck it because its a nice Nomad one

 

Doubt theres much you can do to fix it

 

Replace it with a new nomad one so she doesn't know!!
