Default mk6 engine into a mk 4

ive got a mk6 1.6 mexico and a mk4 bonus and i want to put the engine out the mexico into the mk 4 will it just drop straight in without any problems. and could i use the mk 6 brakes on the car

well darren the engine and box should just drop straight in after you hev changed the engine mounts and also put the loom out the mk6 init

but the brakes should not really fit as the front hubs on the mk4 are different to the front hubs on the mk6

right next question i know i can fit the brakes on there just the front ones im after. my next question the lamda sensor what will i do with it cause ill be removing the cat for the exhaust system

if ur removing the cat u should nt rly need to fit a lamda sensor as all it does is find out what the cat is doing and relay it back to the ecu so in effect u should not need to if a lamda sensor n the car should run fine tis just like decatin a mk6
