right got a 1.8 derv fiesta van im having a few problems with. firstly the battery kept dieing on me so did a test alternater not charging. no probs got a new alternater ok for a few days then going to work half five in the morning nothing so moved the cars round jumped it of the astra no probs got to work got home,next day fine day afta starter went. so thought right get new starter new battery fine again for a few days then yes flat, so once again new alternater sort of fine bit slow turning over but goes sometimes. the thing baffeling me is when running fine lights neva dim even with heater and radio on. ive tried all sorts new wires both live an earths added an earth to the shell still the same any help ideas info please im sick of bumping on me own

sounds to me fella like youve got a severe drain on ya van.best thing to do is use a multimeter on amps and see what drain you have.anything under .5 amp is good but any higher and then your problems could begin as you will need to find out what circuit is draining the battery.easiest way to do this is to have the multimeter on then pull each fuse out 1 at a time,this will give you a clue as to the circuit that is draining then can go from there
