Default zetec sump

Ive bought a 1.8 cvh bottom end for my xr3i of ebay a couple of weeks ago i wasnt expecting much for the price it went for but when i got there to pick it up i was most pleased to find it had been stroked to a 1.8 with forged pistons, steel rods and a reground steel crank. But my question is
it has came with a zetec sump on the assembley and i was wondering if there is any advantage of putting this back on over the cvh one ?
Thanks in advance.

It wont go rusty and bend/twist like a shitty pressed steel CVH one.

And........ive been wanting info on this for some time. Any chance you could get some pictures of it fitted for me, and see if anything has been modded to aid fitment/sealing of it as i really want to fit one on mine

Thanks in advance

ive just remembered that the bloke said aswell that i would need to trim the dipstick tube down by 1/4 of an inch to stop it catching on the crank not sure if thats because of the sump or crank though.

That would be greatly appreciated.

The dipstick tube will be because of the crank
