Default 1.6 efi cvh - What options do I have?

Ok, im looking at getting a 1.6 efi cvh engine for my already 1.4 chv efi Escort and modding it (Its a later car, 94), now I don't wanna go the zetec route, so what choices do I have, and I would like to keep it a 1600 cc capacity.

Has anyone ever done a 1600zvh engine?

Im just looking for ideas for power and drivibility, without spending stupid amounts of money, anyone?

Whats the basics, cam, chips maifold likely to get me?

Cheers folks!

I know, but i'd rather go the NA power route for the time being, mailny as I cant afford huge insurance premiums for a group 15 car, and the n/a 1.6 105 bhp engineis only group 8 when you get the engine from a 1990 and onwards escort.......

Mind you, thats assuming I told em, anyone else?
