YB Cosworth PIPER Vernier pulleys and Cambelt Change
Guys abit of help needed..
I am changing my standard YB vernier Pulleys to some new PIPER vernier pulleys on my 1992 Escort Cosworth..
Are these simple to fit and when i change the cambelt do i need to fit a brand new cambelt tensioner or can i use the present old one fitted.??
Can someone please advise thanks.

if you are confident about changing the cam belt, then fitting vernier pulleys shouldn't be a problem - set them to standard, then turn the engine over a couple of times using a socket on the crank pulley bolt to make sure you haven't made a mistake leading to valve damage
if the bearings in the tensioner sound and feel OK, then carry on using it (having said that, if you don't mind paying for a new one, and don't know the history of the one that's fitted, then fit a new one anyway if only for peace of mind)
