zetec. cable or rod change???

As title.

are any of the gearboxes that mate to the 2.0 zetec engine a cable change???

I'm praying that one is!

IB5 and MTX75 and MT285 use cables.....

Only mainly Focus, late Fiesta and Mondeo / Cougar use cables in the car range as far as I'm aware. Not ALL MTX75 or IB5 do, as the MTX75 was also used in the XR3i and RS2000 Escort and they are rod change and the IB5 was not used on 2 litre engines, due to chocolate-effect when powered up. Hence, all 2 litre Focus engines use MTX75 and all Mondeo use MTX75.
