Default S2 clutch question

A mate of mine has not used his S2 for about 6 months. The last time it moved anywhere was about 4 months ago. I had a look at it last night. I found the clutch to be really springy as if it was a paddle clutch (but it's actually just a std ford jobbie) it was ok b4 the car was taken off of the road.

He is about to start using the car again soon. My question is, do you think the clutch is likely to get better with use? or is it looking like new clutch time?

Cheers
Dan

dunno m8,,my s2s been of the road about 12months,and the clutch is fine on it,,wouldnt juss get a clutch me-sell,coz it felt a bit off (if it works fine enough),,i tend to work on the principle,,"if it aint bust,,,bust it ,,,then fix it"

What a great philosophy, must try to follow it in future!
I would agree tho that if the clutch worked before and it works now then just drive it and see if it loosens up a bit.
