Hi all, ive got a small oil leak on my 2wd cossie. The engine is a bit mucky so need to clean to try and find leak. Is it ok to steam clean me engine? is there any stuff that needs to be covered?

just stay away from ignition system and try not to direct the steam at electrical connections, you should be alright then

 

ive found it to be ok just try and keep away from the throttle postion switch on the side of the throttle buterfly other wise the dam thing just keeps revving up by its self up to 3500 rpm a pain ignition sys is ok just wipe out the water

 

As above. but underneath will be ok

if u got an alarm siren then unbolt it and wrap it up in cling film as u dont want water gettin in it and start givin u problems
