can anyone tell me why we are not getting any ingintion on the inside of the car nothings works o pmp no oil light nothing?it a mk3 xr3 escort can somone help thanks

 

Flat battery ?, does interior light come on ok ?

no its not a flat battery? ill cheak the fusees tomorrow as its over my mates garge with no lights???
is there any relays at all to look for???in the main box?
the car neaver ran ever since wev had it?no engine in it!!!

 

More likely to be a main wire off or forgotten at battery.
Ford have a habit of using a red wire with a black sheath around it which sometimes mistakenly gets put on the neg instead of pos, worth a look.
If not just follow power route along from battery and you may find an immobiliser in the circuit ?
If not make sure power is reaching ignition sw and PCR in fuse box.

ps I had to ask the obvious no offence was intended, it is sometimes hard to determine peoples ability please do not take offence as none intended.

 

i had a similar problem with mine find the ignition switch "black box" follow the wires till you come to a black connection box and check it has not melted and there is a good connection as this tends to get a little warm

 

well ill be looking into it this wkend and ill let you know the out come it must be the black wire as we have put it on the neg side?well see what happens thanks chaps for the replys

 

You may find it wont run again now if you've got it wrong

 

any ideas why????????????
