i have a 4x4 rs 2000 mk6 but the electrics are going mental. the windows have a mind of there own and now the alarm starts going when your driving any help would be massiveley helpfull

 

Waht are the windows doing by their own, going up?
Do you have window closure on the alarm ?, if you do this points to a fault with the alarm.

Fuse box breaking down i expect mate.

All too common on the MK5/6 Escorts through out the range

 

Fuse box definitely mate, I had a mk5 RS 2000, same thing happened to me then the car wouldn't start.

Funny how my local 'RS' dealer who carried nowt for RS's or most parts in general managed to have a stock of fuseboxes in. mmmmm. Dead easy to fit but was about 130 quid if I remember correctly.
