s2 running 3 cylinders

i have a s2 and no. 3 cylinder is not working what could be the cause cheers.

loads of things. compression, electrical. could be head gasket, piston ring or broken piston. dizzy cap, leads or spark plugs.anything else for the likes to safe chav to go on.

compression test would be a good start
