we have a ford focus and it drinking fuel and lacks performance badly can anyone tell me why as idont know why is doing it it runs fine and starts fine but we just have to rev the nutts off it to get anywhere hill are the prob?????

its a 1.8 ghia 16v black top zetec serviced regulary with genuine parts also?????

Disconect the MAF and see if it gets better. If it does, clean the inside of the MAF with carb cleaner and reconect. Then let it dry out and go for a spin.

is your clutch badly worn. if it is then u will find you can be at 50 in 5th or similar, put your foot down a bit an the engine just revs an speed doesnt increase.

is about 300 quid to put right an go on nationwide autocentres website an you can get online deals. print off the voucher, book ur car in, take the voucher along an then u get it cheaper

 

Has the exhaust note changed ?, is your cat starting to block up?
