hi, im new to this site, some may know me of fiesta-si.com.

ive an xr2i, '90, it has a early (and annoying) weber style iscv.
i bought a chip and ecu off ebay, code 1AFA,
on removing mine mine was 9AAA (oops), the chip and ecu does work but the idle is chaff, it cuts out constantly at junctions and "!hunts" like a good 'un.

1. do i need the later hitachi iscv to run this ecu properly?
2. can the superchip plug into 9AAA without causing damage?
3. i know hitachi valves are on the inlet manifold, can a xr3i mk4 one thats on a bracket be used if needs be?
