automatic Choke on 1.1 fiesta
Hi!
New to the world of Ford cars (use to classic minis) and now have a standard 1.1i fiesta as my work horse.
It's a 1994 M with an auto choke, that is being a bit bloodly minded - for a few days last week, had great fun and games starting it up from cold - foot right of the accelator and then the carb would flood and foot to the floor to start - OK after a few seconds and would keep going!
It seems to be OK again, but what, if anything can I do to stop the car being so bloodly minded and not wanting to start some times. Its fine when warm!
Any help/suggestions greatly appreciated.
I'm not scared of getting hands dirty and attempting "basic" work myself.
Thanks, Helen
