Default Turbo help needed

Any1 know if you can tighten the shaft in the turbo on a garret t3 og a s2 erst. just got a turbo no smoking or leaking of oil but the shaft has a fair bit of play any1 know if it can be tightened i just dont want it to do any seriouse damage and cant afford to get it reckoned cheers

No if it's got shit loads of play then it's fucked and needs a rebuild/recon

you should of checked on here before you bought that! you cant tighten the shaft on a turbo. the first thing i always check on a turbo is play in the shaft!
