need some help with a wire for my car amp wires please

I've got a wire that connects the amp to an adaptor and it looks something like this

i've actually brought this but it doesnt fit, the end without the pins is too small, can anyone help

I have no idea what he means at this stage either

The only thing i can think of is hes saying hes bought a male-female lead, he needs male-male. That could be the problem?

adaptor whats he talking about you should have the female to female lead and the blue switch on feed thats all that comes from the stereo take the live from the batt but mind its fused correctly and earth it to the body of the motor i dont understand what you mean by adaptor any pics of it?

Dont think you will be able to fit an aftermarket amp to your standard ford radio mate(if that's what your trying to do) as all the connections will be different as ford did'nt intend it to be used with any other amp apart from ther one.

I know what hes on about i think, it takes a speaker level output and reduces in down to a line level output so you can plug it into the amp's RCA's.

Not them thing's that connect to the head unit's speaker wires then you plug the RCA's into it
