Twin dellorto 45's or single dellorto 48
got a 2.0 pinto and upgrading carbs. Have been offered twin dellorto 45's but they are expensive. I have also been offered a single 48 and i have been told it can do the same jod as the twin 45's.
Anyone know if this is the case, or am i better getting the twins??

A single 48 is nowhere near as good as a set of 45's, the spec of your engine wouldnt warrant the use of 45's,try 40's they cost a lot less, if you were to run high compression ie 11:1 or more and big valve head n wild cam etc then 45's and 48's are the way forward, but in this instance 40's with the right chokes will be perfect.
