does anybody know were i can get a set of bonnet struts for a mk4 scort, either new or from a doner car were u could maybe use old boot struts? any info on positioning would be handy aswell.

Can't help but...... Don't buy the INXX 1's as I have fitted a couple of cars with these and they only just keep the bonnet open to the point that sometimes it could just slam shut on its own (dangerous if you've got your head under there!!!). I know a few of the Focus RS lads that came through SCC got some real pukka 1's from USA but don't know where from tho...

Twins has used BMW Z4 boot hinges with struts but these took quite a bit of fiddling to fit...

i have the INXX ones been on the car 2 years with no problems just make sure you fit them right got them off ebay
