One of those thingy tools, you know that you use for the thing?

LOL

Can you describe that again without using the word "thing", and also what car it is

A big hammer, some cable ties and gaffer tape.

If it gets really extreme, a grinder

A three legged puller?

But seriously, most pulleys that are tight, a good whack with a nylon hammer will do the job.

Cant always get a puller into the pulleys

I used a proper pulley removal tool on mine and it was still a twat to get off! My engine was out of the car and on a stand tho which made life easier. Tried nylon hammer but it just took the piss and wouldnt play. Be careful not to use a metal hammer like my mate did, he eventually shattered the pulley and had to smash it off. Brute force and ignorance works every time! Lol
