I have S2 Rst which has a rather annoying rattle coming from the roof in fact it's driving me crackers !

Thought it was the sunroof as it was jammed, so spent all boxing day afternoon fitting another one, took it out for a run and the rattles still there !

IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE IN THE ROOF THAT COULD BE CAUSING THIS ???

Noticed the roof was really rusty and had to hoo ver a ton of rust out of it.
Any help would be much appricated, cos a just feel like sellin the b**tard !

 

some times spot welds break and that rattle together but they are a bastard to find

 

alot of S2's rust behind to sunroof from the inside out where the roof brace is it may be thats what it is, shit job to sort i'd say

if it is that the roof liner has to come out and you will have to stick the brace with something if you weld your guna feck the paint on your roof

got the same problem on mine, I fear its the rust behind the sunroof causing it

 

snap me to and its where the brace as com off.

im gonna remove the sun room chuck as much sealer in the gaps then cover it over and the room with dynamat extreme. (brilliant stuff for stopping rattles)
