Default XR4x4 2.8 Help pleeeeeeease!! :o)

Please help me, I need to get my car working!
I had an MOT and failed on some silly bits, I have now done the little jobs and now it will not run.

It starts up, but keeps cutting out on idle, if I hold the revs up high it will run and drive, but as soon as the revvs drop it starts to struggle and then cuts out.
also i tried unplugging the cold start injector on the inlet manifold (blue plug) and it does not even attempt to start, like there is no fuel at all from the other injectors..

Please help )

Been doing some searching and reading on the net..
The fuel system is K jetronic..
Is it possible for the air flap to close completely? as this may have shut off my fuel shut off valve?
the only fuel it is getting is from the cold start valve only, if i unplug this then there is no fuel..
once it fires up and revved enough to open the air flap then its running ok.
strange though as it was running smoothly no problem, the last thing i did was to jack up the drivers side to adjust my handbrake cable. even then i drove it out the garage and parked up, then 10 mins or so later it began having this problem.

This is quite common on the Sieeras, but not the Capris. An air leak is your first check. Don't forget all the basis such as loose leads and electricla conecters on sensors. The idle screw clogging up with carb is also common. When did you last change your fuel filter?

I found the problem this morning, all down to a loose clip and a loose rubber cover over the air vane.... refitted it and all is well.
Cheers
