Default 2.0L Mondeo Engine

Hiya guys,

Just been looking at chips for a 2.0l mondeo engine on the superchips site, and it mentions a 2.0l 143bhp engine? What mondeo is this in? year etc

Cheers

on the superchips site it lists it as a 2000 year? so would i be right to assume this is in the mondeo mk3? could it be a duratech?

yes. try and get one for a good price ermm how???. You need a duratec gearbox as the bellhousing pattern is different to every other ford gearbox. You will have ecu problems, I expect engine mount problems, mouting the exhaust and driveshafts and maybe hubs, then brakes and wheels if that needs changing.

If you want power, fit an st170 exhaust manifold, unichip and some cams plus good flowing exhaust or.......... just fit a chip and enjoy the increased driveability and if your car is like mine was, lose the flat spot just under 4k rpm
