Fitting a Radtec front mounted Intercooler to a S2 RST
Hi.
I've been working on my S2 for about a year now. And now it is time to mount the brand new intercooler from Radtec. But it turns out to be a pain in the a*se to get it to fit. I want the two slim SPAL fans to be between the radiator and the intercooler, and now I have the fans mounted as low as possible to the radiator to allow the intercooler to get as far in at the top as possible. But still I can't get the bumper on properly, because the mounting brackets on the ic which is welded on pops out 3-4cm in front of the intercooler .. is this right?
Also, if I move the radiator as far back towards the engine as I can, the radiator hose from the pump comes in contact with the alternators cooling fan. Does anyone have a picture of how they mounted their FMIC, or any tip to how I could do this?
Best regards!

Thanks ALOT! Those pictures really helps. Looks like I have to get my cooler to a welder who can weld up aluminium then. I thought the brackets looked a bit off when I recieved my cooler Maybe they designed the brackets for mounting the fans in front of the intercooler? Anyways ..
What car is the alternator belt originaly ment for? The 750-752mm belt I mean
Thanks a lot again cabrst. Go Denmark (Im Norwegian)
