Just got my engine back from being fully rebuilt and was told to run it in with minral oil so i have primed the oil pump no problems but when it is running it sounds abit noisey not bad but i was wondering if this is due to everything being new and the oil im using

How long has it been running? if your talking about the top end(the lifters) will take awhile to quite down even a few hundred miles
