Default chipping a mondeo???

hi,,,great forum this,i have a question about fuel intake,i had a standard mk1 1.8 mondeo saloon,i had a problem with my cat so a mate of mine cut it open, took out all the honeycombe stuff an welded it shut,,resulting in my car going a lot faster much to my delight,,, after this i started looking into ways of getting more power from it relatively cheap,,,(is where i found passion ford) so realised that an induction kit would be next,i have fitted a green cotton one and its ok,,,i have now got one of these (chips) from e-bay but am now reluctant to fit it,,,due to the fact that all they do is advance the timing for more petrol,,,this cant be that good for the engine doing that all the time can it?????or would it not bother the engine that much,,,i have saw info about a power boost valve that i can get for around 85quid and am tempted to get this instead,,,would this be the sensible way???,am thinking of getting this and injectors off a 2litre mondeo( coz read somewhere that they fit) will this give me more power without too much hassle??. thanks in advance

Throttle body, cams and injectors from a 2.0 mondeo should increase the bhp to about 130, A decent exhaust system, power boost valve and a decent induction kit should help get a bit more power too
