Default Escorts like a steam train

It all started yesterday started the car nothing wrong there got half way out my drive and there it was a big cloud of smoke from the exhaust. Not so long ago i had a new cam so that is fine, and the smoke seems to be getting worse......any help on this

What colour of smoke?

Any cross contamination of coolant/oil? Loss of coolant/oil?

Black/Grey smoke gets worse when i put my food down on peddle

the only other thing i did yesterday was check my oil and top up,,could that of done something but never has b4

Sounds like overfuelling or the turbo seals gone to me.

justed checked the oil and it looks like i did over fill it whats the best way of getting rid of some just drive un burn it off ????

DON'T drive it to get rid of it.

You could crack the sump plug and let a bit driblle out. Or you could disconnect the turbo oil feed pipe and also disconnect the dizzy wiring plug and crank it over to lose a bit of oil (Its CRITICAL you do something to stop the engine from starting)

Undo the sump plug mate and drain some out thats the best way

just had a look under bonnet and car and it seems like the CAT is burning but only had a new CAT fitted april this year that wouldnt of gone now ????
