Default Mondeo ´95 24v V6

Does anyone know if I can make a diagnostic readout like on cossies with a LED??
Andhow to decode these signals??

My Mondeo have a VERY poor fueleconomy and began 2 weeks ago to fail starting, and it is exactly the same thing every time it fools around with me.

Turn the key.. in m.sec it goes to 2000 r/min.. drops sloooowwly to regular idle, coughing a little, then dies. Start again.. doing the same procedure and dies. starts again and for the most it is normal!!

It is allmost like it is pumping fuel in the pipeline to the rail... or??

Anyone

If you have an eec-iv ecu'd Mondeo I think you can make/use a basic LED tester as described here http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/star.htm The STO/STI connector is a triangular 3 pin plug next to the octane adjust and DCL plugs fitted to the bulkhead (offside on UK models) of the engine bay.

Missed it's the V6, it might have a similar connector to that described in the article hidden behind a panel on the dashboard.
