Default Strange one help.

Right what could cause this i have been having starting troubles with my escort cossie.

The starter motor doesn't always seem to bite on to the flywheel like its missed matched. However i had no starting problems before.

You here the starter turning and every now and again it bites on to the flywheel and trys to start but doesn't seem to bite for long enough.

Any idea's??

check out the wiring to the starter make sure thats all ok

if it is then it might be the solenoid on the starter that knackered

dunno if u can still buy solenoids on there own or its a recon starter m8!"
