Hi there, I have a 1.7 VCT puma engine fitted to my fiesta and the standard filter is a bit clogged with dirt.

Was wondering whether I should get a K&N Cone Filter or K&N Panel Filter? I hear you lose power from the cone but gain noise but possibly gain a little with the panel filter - what are you opinions on this?

 

If you must, get a panel filter.

 

Get a panel filter. Ford spent a great deal of time and money designing the airbox.
