i have a t34 on a 2wd manifold, i removed the turbo today to change the manifolds gaskets. when i went to refit the turbo i noticed that two of the bolts had some form of spring arround them that stopped them going back into the housing of the turbo. the other two were fine the spring things were still located in the turbo housing and the bolts would tighten up fine. as such i am not able to refir my turbo, help.......[/img]

Sounds like the threads have stripped in the past and have been repaired by helicoiling. You'll need to replace the helicoils before refitting.

cheers, sorted, got a kit from a local engineering place along with some new studs.
