Default Tuning chips

Chaps,

I have bought an Ahmed Khan chip, 330bhp for my 2WD sapph. I got it from a guy on e-Bay who operates a store.

Has anyone heard of these before, or has anyone had any good / bad experiences with them before I put it in??

(I've got 803's T34 & a 3 bar map to match).

If its a no-no, what the recommendation for 803's etc? I decided on 330 horses to keep some reliability, as the transmission will take 350.

Cheers,

Si.

Ahmed Kahn?

Get it checked by a pro as the wrong chip can EASILY cost you a Ł5K engine explosion!!

Ahmed Kahn does ring a bell wit me and the name Trubador comes up.

He used to sell copied chips on the RSOC BB.

HANDS OFF m8, really.
If you want a new engine anyway --> then by all means, run it.
If you still want an engine after a couple of miles --> stay whell away !!!!

Ahmed Kahn.... Trubador.... oh yes....

do you play the lottery..?

sorry, unless you used to use the old RSOC bulletin board you may not see the humour..

as Stu says, get it checked/setup by a pro to be sure of what you've got...

Cheers

Cheers chaps,

I'll take it to well lane & see how it runs. I'm also installing an air/fuel meter so when it matters (i.e. full bore) I should be able to avoid a melt down.

Regards,

Si.

mr chipped uk Q ,what is your copied chip data off for cossies , i have an eprom programmer and my chips turn out ok too, people dont seem to realise that the actual chip is not important ,but it is the data on it that is ,and if copied correctly then the chip is identical to the donor chip .........i use 27c64a chips ,they are reliable p.s if people looked at your feedback on ebay they would see 98 percent of people are happy with your product
