Default p reg escort si cutting out

This question is for a mate of mine. He has a p reg escort si 1.8 estate , everytime he stops at a junction his revs drop and his engine cuts out Any ideas of what this could be?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I dont know if it has an idle control valave or not?

Cheers

Could be the ISCV, its located on the inlet manifold underneath the throttle housing (I THINK), check for air leaks aswell, and loose/split/unconnected pipes

just had a look, looks a bit tight but i'll sort it, my girlfriends fiesta had the same fault, but that valve was on the front of the inlet manifold and was a lot easier to get at.

Had to get it off the ramp as the boss didnt look to happy! lol oh well f*ck em
