it will space the wheels out by the difference in thickness of the disc centre and the original drum centre - approx 6mm each side from memory.

i heard it was 10mm each side which would make a problem for me as i was going to run 7.5j 17's with 50mm drop.
is there any other brake set ups that dont space wheels out??

as the disc mounts onto the front face of the hub (between wheel and hub) it will always add offset to the wheel compared to the drum - the centre portion of the drum that the wheel bolts against is pretty thin, 3mm most generally, disc bell will be a reasonable amount thicker than this - though I can't see the disc bell being thicker than the drum by much more than 6mm or so.

oh i forgot to put its a mk4 escort, so the sierra rear hub is bound to be slightly different on the offset side of things

it's only the sierra disc thickness that is relevant, the disc fits over the standard S2 Turbo or XR3i hub

yes it does space out but i heard it was 5/6mm, only. tbh its only gonna cuase probs on the outer archs which can be sorted it. as ur running 7.5s it should pull them slighty away from the inner arch which is much better IMO
