Ello, is there a thermostat behind the dashboard that tells the temperture gauge needle to move ?

As ive changed all the other thermostats and it still dont work proper, when i put the ignition on the needle moved up as if its really hot then when i start the car the needle goes back to cold??


Just wondering so i can change the thermostat, rather than changing the full dash ie speedo - rev counter - temp gauge and petrol gauge.


any ideas.
