Default focus warning light

hi people wundering if you can help.
my old mans focus ghia tdci 05 plate has a problem when you turn the car on a light comes on saying that there is water in the feul.
we have had a look around but tbo not sure what to look for we have checked all the conections and couldn't c any signs of splits in the lines.
does anyone have any ideas on how to sort the problem or has anyone come across this prob before any help would be great.

drain the fuel trap m8.
there will be a little screw thingy under the fuel bowl/fillter open that up and u should get some water out.

had this sort of problem on the misses clio in the winter. wouldnt start so new fillter and all was fine

b4 you start playing with it mate take it to ford or a garage to get the work done as it will invalidate your warrenty if you touch it just had one come into my garage that a guy had changed a fiter on and a couple of other bits and it turned out that he's fuel pump was faulty on he's tdci focus have done all the work but ford wont cover it due to him touching it so now the guy has a bill for 2k.
