Pop over to www.xrstyle.co.uk/forums and ask the XR4 boys over there is probably your best bet

My mate had a 2.0 dohc 8v with a filter and exhaust it actually lost power

it was a GT

never a big fan of those engines

Be different and stick a RS 2000 16v head on it with cams and a good management u should see around 200 +bhp

yes and no....... they seemed to be a poor attempt by ford to boost the xr mark, they are the same as a normal sierra as such with a few flashy bits of trim and didn't sell too well......... the rarity comes with this fact in mind , also that sierras in general seem in the throwaway bracket of cars....

0-60 is around 9.7 with a top of 118mph around 125 bhp as standard without cats...

Don't forget the transmission losses

you will be lucky to see 90 bhp at the wheels

best and cheapest solution to more power is to drop in a 2.9 v6 or the 24 v cosworth v6

the later can be picked up for peanuts
