Zetec superchip Help

I have purchased a superchip for my ford escort but it now idles really low and cuts out and it wont let me go pass 4000rpm

Any clues why as i dont have a clue

Couple of thoughts;
Is it the right one?
Is the J3 connector thoroughly clean?
