From: Macclesfield - you'll never leave....!
what colour is the wire - it it just one or a pair - how big is it, what make is the alarm? is there any other notations for it in the schematic in the manual?
right the colour is orange, the alarm is pluged in to the same loom as all the ignition, acc and 'on' relays that go on the ignition barral.
also the 'high coil' come up again in the instrutions, you cut the +12v supply to and by pass it though the 'engine cut off' relay, so i imagen its the ignition coil, but i dont have a clue because my engine cfi and doesn't have a seprate coil, its all in with the distributer, and the alram is called spy

Without sounding rude, this alarm sounds a bit pants? What make is it???? Wrapping wires around coils that sounds very odd.
Personally if you still can i would take it back and buy a Toad or something similar off eBay, £100 for a category 1 alarm.......mmmmmmmmm
