Hi Lo Boost on Cossie
Im aware than you can cut the Amal valve supply wire to give a switchable Hi Lo Boost control, but was wondering if anyone has ever wired it to a throttle switch, so that full boost would operate under near full throttle wheras the rest of the time it would be low.
Recon it would be good for normal day to day driving.......
Any thoughts???

So any idea's on the Throttle switch???
Im thinking that if i get a Make/Make switch, then the circuit would be broken up until (near full throttle posotion) when the switch would make and Full Boost would be operational........
Can you see any obvious flaws in that idea???

You might want full boost but without being flat to the floor!
imagine a kev try's to overtake you when ur in 2nd or third, you would want full boost to piss all over him but you would be unwise to put the pedal to the metal without feeding it in first cause it could all end in tears
Plus your car will eat the gears bloody quick anyway so by the time your foot gets all the way to the bottom it will need to come up again so you can change gear.
It will be very rare on the road when you will be flat down in 1st 2nd or even 3rd depending on what spec it will be!
like i said before, mark and me have this setup but we have a arming switch on the dash or you could put it on the steering wheel

Thanks for that Darren,
I think i'll do that too.
I like the idea of it being on the wheel, so you can hold the steering wheel with the right hand whilst changing with the left (ready for orbit!!!) and then one press of the thumb and........
