Default what do i need????

went to get my wheels aligned, but the garage said no point as all the rubber has worn away on the wishbone, now what do i need, jus the rubber bit or a whole new wishbone?

i got both new arms put on today but jesus the car is still everywhere, every pothole why wheel moves like anything

Have you got big alloys? Classic for making the car go all over the shop espcecially when lowered.

yeh changed both wishbone arms, yeh its lowered by 40mm and got 17" tsw razors on it

and did you change the 2 link arms also? people do over look them and leave them think their about Ł15 each!

Its a good point, but i think its going to be more the 40mm & 17's making it drive like that, its not un-common.......

lol ill get them looked at, also the alighnment centre said it also looks like a bush ahs gone on the left side??

i didnt think of it but surely after getting new wishbones and there is still like a kniockin/rubbing noise coming from front left its a wheel bearing, am i wrong?

jack it up and pull the wheel from top and bottom and wiggle if you have movement ha presto a wheel bearing, pressed in type so hub of and bearing need to be pulled and pushed out, you could do it with i hammer and chisel and replace the races but not reccommended
