The boot should use the factory switch for the boot light, and the under bonnet one is usually visible if you have a look

You won't need an alarm after the sledge hammer.....thats the sheer beauty of it

The box will be up under the dash somewhere, black metal box with a clifford sticker.

No offence but those Concept 300's are shit alarms

On the rear there is a copper pad on the section that runs along the width of the boot (the latch conects here too) these can start to get a film on them which stops the contact being made, get some 1500 grit glasspaper and clean them so there bright copper. Also worth doing this to the 4 pins in the boot which connect to the pads.

The front pin switch is a big block near the chassis plate. Its more than likely that the alarm fitter would have put another one on somewhere but it will be on the slam panel somewhere.

Chances are the alarm box will be under the drivers area (above the pedals) its just a black box saying clifford.

And just to expand on that, put some electrical contact grease on them aswell

Ive never owned one but my mate had one on his Astra SRI and while left to sit it just broke one night, never to work again.

I bought a Toad myself after lots of opinions, VERY good and reliable, doesn't have all the extra little bits like a clifford does out the box but are a damn sight cheaper and can be readily bought

Mine was the motion sensor that even on the lowest setting would still detect something, used to go off everynight, at work, in carparks. Had to start turning the motion sensor off everytime which defeated the object of having one !!

I also had the problem you describe even after sorting all the bits including door pins.. ....

Could be anywhere mate, mine was mounted under the gearstick gaitor to the carpet. I think it may need to be somewhere quite centra to the car.

You'll know when you find it cos it has a red LED on it with a light grey plastic flat screw head (so you can adjust the sensitvity). Also says motion sensor in it (its about an inch sqaure)

I found mine by luck !!
