Hi guys, I bought my escort rs the other week but I've only got round to fitting my cd player the now. The problem is that one of the previous owners must have had a cd player or something else in it and when they sold it they have taken it out and also cut the main power and speaker cables right back to the bulk head. Somebod has managed to fit another red 12v supply and earth but I need to know if there is anywhere else in the car that I can get a perminant 12v supply coz when I turn the ignition off my cd player loses all its data and settings which is quite annoying

Any info or advive would be great thanx.

 

An easy plece would be the ignition lock. Red is permanent 12V and yellow is the 12V for the radio which is on only when you turn the key.
