Default Equal length DRIVESHAFTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ive read on a well known tuners site forum that he uses equal lenth driveshafts for his mk3/4 mtx 75 gearbox conversions so that there is NO need for the lsd???? is this true??

If so,surely this means there would be less to go wrong,be cheaper to maintain etc etc.??

whats everyones views on this??

Don't know about the specific merits of using equal length shafts on a MTX75 but on a general note equal length shaft are used to prevent torque steer. I cannot see how this eleminates the need for a lsd which is there primarily to aid cornering
