I'll bet you when you're booting it the tyre is ballooning and pulling away from the rim.......

If they are oldish rims then take them back to where you got the tyres fitted - have them take the tryes off & check the inside of the rim for corrosion (ALL ALLOYS GET IT) get them to clean them up with the buffer wheel & apply bead sealer when fitting back up - i take it they did change the valves?

The test for you to do is to get a bowl of very soapy water & apply to the rim of the tyre & rim of the wheel to see if it bubbles if it does you have a leak - the other thing to check is the valve with the same method - if no leak found take off wheels & check inside rim with the method again.

Other than that there is nothing else to try !!!

Hope this helps

Oh forgot to mention if they don't have bead sealer on the premises they are a cowboy outfit as all good fast fit centres do have it.

If it was the rims being corroded surely they would go flat whatever......not when he goes out for a blast.......as he said it sits in the garage for weeks on end, but as soon as he gives it some beans they lose pressure.

yes but if the leak is under weight it won't leak - that's why they only leak when it's on the move as the wall of the tyre is being moved from side to side.

I've seen it before many times when i was in the tyre trade ( 10 yrs to long )

true if they were corroded and the rim of the tyre sat against the corroded part then they would leak sitting there, but when they inspected the rims to find the leak the rims wasnt corroded as thats what they thought hmmm think im just gonna start from scratch new rims, new valves, new tyres s it must be only me who has this problem with keeping it up for long time it aint running serious power so can only be rims maybe there cracked and when they get warm or put under power they open up scary
