Default electric windows

anybody got any ideas put a s2 loom into my s1 Complete loom as using a s2 engine etc cant get the electric windows to work !!!!!!!!!!!! switchs show live power but nothing happins if i power the motors of a battery they go up and down no problem i think its a earth problem anybody know were the earth for the window loom is?? i have checked in the drivers footwell and those earths are clean and tight !!

Might want to check the actual connection on the plugs to see if the earth is making a contact - the earth is located in the footwells - try taking the screws out & replace them with new to make a better contact - they might be a bit rusty on the actual thread that you can't see.

Just a idea !!

Series 1 switches are notorious for breaking. Ive gone through several of them
