Default brake help

ive recently bought a bmw 735 the brakes are going to be done thursday as they are quite bad now however since yesterday when moving off from standstill the car will act as if its wheel spinning and just wont move, if i slowly accelerate it will be fine but if its up a hill it just wont go! Once you get to around 30 then its as normal I just needed to know if this is breaks related, maybe they are so fooked that this is whats happening
