hello there this is my first post on here just wondered if you can help i have just done a head gasket change on my mates rs 2000 started it and it is stuck on four grand checked the idle control valve seems fine the butterfly is shut but it is still stuck on four grand any help would be great cheers

 

sound slike youve got a massive air leak somewhere mate

 

think there is a hole in the cly head and goes to injector flange always cathces people out also check the inlet to brake servo hose try to take it off and hold your finger over it see if it helps
