Hi, i would like to fit my Ford Focus with an Amp and Sub setup, but I do not have a clue how to fit it to the Stardard Ford 5000 RDS head unit i have. I don't want to change the head unit yet and im quite pleased with it and have no need to change. If anyone could help me with pictures and diagrams that would be a great help, as i've not had much luck so far....

You can buy a unit that joins onto the +/- on the speaker cables that convert it to a phono lead. I personally though would just look into getting another stereo and buy a blanking plate for underneath it.

Theres amps available which will take an input from a speaker level output, you won't find this feature on the more up market amps though. But im guessing you won't be entering any sound off with a Ford stereo anyway
