the brakes on my 3i are a bit crap ,so ive checked the pads discs and bleed them,but theyre still very bad,
basically when u brake the pedals rite on the floor so ur foocked if u slam on.

im gunna try the master cylinder,but cant find one any where in the breakers .

is it the same as the rs??? or just for the 3i???

also did the 3i have abs???

s1 should b the same but s2 has only 2 outlets so u would need to tee off for the fronts,it also has a bigger bore size of 25mm,great 4 all disc conversion as i have one on my cortina.

some late xr's had mechanical abs driven by a belt on drive shaft

xr3i 1990 has a 23mm master cylinder 4 outlets, not great but better than nothing, if you can get a brand new one it will work pretty well.

 

Try GMS Capri spares think they have new ones

 

or your local automotive dealer mate, when i bought mine it was about £83.00
